Cameron is an incoming graduate student with three summers of research experience in Dr. Carl Gutwin’s HCI lab at the University of Saskatchewan. His main area of research has focused on low-level keyboard interaction techniques, including novel pointing methods that unify action selection and actuation with the keyboard, as well as a chord-based mode selection technique that eliminates the need for traditional modifier keys. Previously he has investigated glanceable visualizations for charts, supporting quick and efficient information retrieval. Cameron has a publication in the Association for Computing Machinery and is always eager to explore new research opportunities and contribute to the HCI community.
