Phaedra is an undergraduate student pursuing a B.Sc. in Psychology and a B.Sc. & B.A. in Interactive Systems Design. She completed an interdisciplinary psychology honours thesis in 2019/2020, co-supervised by Dr. Regan Mandryk and Dr. Ron Borowsky and is now working on a computer science honours thesis. In addition, she’s also spent the summer of 2019 and 2020 working as an NSERC undergraduate research assistant in the Human-Computer Interaction Lab.
Her research focuses on investigating the relationship between reading, attention and video games, as well as the potential benefits of digital interventions for reading disorders and mental health.
