Taylan started out in the HCI as a visualization developer with P2IRC, and is now pursuing an M.Sc. in computer science under the supervision of Carl Gutwin. His research involves improving the
perceived loading time on the web and visual perception. Prior to pursuing computer science as a degree, Taylan completed a B.Sc. in biochemistry and biotechnology, and worked in the canola breeding industry.
